Ok, i've ordered some invisible shoe.. Well the kit that is. I have run some on treadmill only wearing socks. The gym dont like bare foots. My body feels ok with it, but blisters.. Indeed! My greatest concern is my weight 275 lbs. I am 203 cm tall so im not fat. I have run for 2-3 years. Did a lot of halfmaratons and even longer. My body is ok for running. Found a lot of info that heavy people sholud not run barefoot?? I ran a full maraton on treadmill and im still alive.. Any advice from you guys?

I'll chime in.

This idea that heavy people shouldn't run barefoot is complete nonsense.

It's like saying "We're fine if you jam a ton of force into your JOINTS… but not if you try to use your muscles, ligaments and tendons!"

Granted, with extra weight comes extra force, but that just means being extra careful… by not doing too much too soon. Give your body time to recover and build up slowly. Put in some extra time walking. If you're not having a problem, then ignore all the people who say, "You'll have problems!"
